2023 Spring Cheerleading - Registration is Closed

Cheerleading is the backbone of any great team! Your child will have a great deal of fun with other children as they learn new cheers, dances, and routines, while creating new friendships. The YAP Cheerleading program is designed for your child to have fun, teach cheerleading fundamentals, and develop relationships in a thriving community. The success of our season will be determined by your child's improvement in these areas alone.

• Calendar: The YAP Cheerleading program will run February 11, 2023 through April 1, 2023, concurrent with YAP Flag Football.
• Registration: Will open December 4th and close on January 23rd.
• Fees: $95
• Cheering: Cheer team will cheer at during scheduled YAP Flag Football games, primarily on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.
  All games are held at St. Lawrence field.
• Practice: Each cheer group will have one practice per week, 1 hour in duration. When registering your child, please select a practice location preference, as practices will be held at either St. Lawrence or Christ the King.  Your Practice Location preference will impact the practice  days and/or times available to you.
• Groups: Cheer groups will be split depending on the practice location preference chosen on the registration form.
• Experience: Previous experience is not necessary. Practices will include learning basic cheer moves and two dances.
• Age Groups for this Sport: All Age Groups EC-4 through 8th grade.
• Uniforms and Equipment**:

  • **White Tennis Shoes (supplied by player)
