2024 Winter Cheerleading - Registration Opens in late October 2024

Cheerleading is the backbone of any great team! Your child will have a great deal of fun with other children as they learn new cheers, dances, and routines, while creating new friendships. The YAP Cheerleading program is designed for your child to have fun, teach cheerleading fundamentals, and develop relationships in a thriving community. The success of our season will be determined by your child's improvement in these areas alone.

• Calendar: The YAP Cheerleading program will run December 2024 through February 2025, concurrent with YAP Flag Football.
• Registration: Will open in late October 2024.
• Cheering: Cheer team will cheer at during scheduled YAP Flag Football games, primarily on Saturday mornings or early afternoons.
  All games are held at St. Lawrence field.
• Games: The cheer squad will perform Saturdays as noted below, in between Football games, beginning December 2024. All games will be held at St. Lawrence.
• Practice: Cheer groups will have one practice per week, 1 hour in duration, based on the volunteer coach's schedule of availability.
• Experience: Previous experience is not necessary. Practices will include learning basic cheer moves and two dances.
• Age Groups for this Sport: All Age Groups EC-4 through 8th grade.
• Uniforms and Equipment**:
